Bronx House is proud to offer our Universal Pre- Kindergarten (UPK) program in conjunction with the NYC Board of Education for children born in 2004. Our UPK program offers a warm, nurturing, and stimulating atmosphere where children can learn new skills, meet new friends, and discover the joy of learning. Pre-K is an essential preparation for elementary school. Children become familiar with routines, rules, and sharing with others. Classes are led by State certified teachers, with the assistance of associate teachers.

|
This new program designed to help children reach higher goals. It is a concentrated and intense guide towards establishing an early love for learning. This structured program provides children with ongoing support which include three quarters of Literacy, Math and Science. Literacy instruction will focus on phonics, rich book talk, reading comprehension activities, site words and creating our own books with a publishing party. Age appropriate math experiences will challenge young children to explore ideas relating to patterns, shapes, numbers and space. Simple hands-on science investigations will help children develop the skills of asking questions, gathering information, and communicate findings.
